Purchasing

eCabinet Systems represents a major industry buying group. As a result, Members can purchase products from major industry vendors through the program at discount prices.

The program is open to established industry vendors. Many major vendors have already joined and others are in the process of adding their product offering. There is no cost for vendors to join. Each vendor is supplied with a Vendor Application Software Program that allows them to input and configure their product offering within the software. There are two requirements for products offered through the program. Except for products custom-made for a job, items must be in-stock for immediate delivery. Also, they must be available in any quantity at a single fixed price. Each individual vendor determines the price at which their products are offered in the program.

Members purchase through the software directly. As each job is designed, a list of all components that must be purchased for that job is automatically generated. The items on this “Buy List” can then be ordered without the need to individually locate and specify each item. This process can save a substantial amount of time.

For shops that run a lot of jobs, the Buy List for each job can be transferred to a Master Purchase Order and combined with Buy Lists from other jobs. Then components for several jobs can be ordered at one time. This saves shipping costs.

All purchases are placed directly with eCabinet Systems and are paid via credit card or debit card. Each individual vendor ships directly to the customer.
